Course Description
American businesses spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year on training and development for employees. This course is designed to help you gain the knowledge of training and performance development essential for you as a line manager or human resource specialist. Beginning with fundamental principles of performance, we will first focus on identifying critical factors in workplace performance and how to analyze the causes of performance problems. We will then cover learning and training principles and describe how to apply them to individual, team and organizational development. A team-based course project will provide an opportunity to apply what youve learned to a real-life situation.
