As I indicated on the first day of class, the Leeds School has adopted a grading policy intended to ensure the integrity of grades by reducing grade inflation. According to that policy, average grades for 4000-level courses are to be no higher than a 3.3 (faculty violating these guidelines are subject to sanction.)
